IF YOU LIKE YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP THEM
The right to choose your healthcare provider is a fundamental principle of health care reform shared by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Patients should be able to choose and keep their healthcare provider whether it's a doctor, therapist, dentist, chiropractor, podiatrist, medical diagnostic center, or medical supply provider.
Right now, patient choice is threatened when:
* Patients are forced to change healthcare providers when they change jobs.
* Patients are forced to change healthcare providers when their employer changes health insurance plans.
* Patients are bounced from one hospital plan to another.
* Patients lose their healthcare providers when insurance companies drop them from their network.
MUCH is a coalition of patients and healthcare providers working to protect the right of Missourians to choose their healthcare professional by amending Missouri's Constitution. This common-sense solution protects the ability of Missourians to choose any willing healthcare provider regardless of the insurance plan, facility, or hospital.
